The Conference on energy efficiency and renewable energy sources is the largest regional conference gathering experts, whose knowledge is the precondition for the development of the entire society.
It is a unique event in the region, a business and expert convention tackling and analyzing the most significant topics in the Croatian energy sector.
The goal of the Conference is to promote business opportunities and to direct investments towards energy efficiency projects and the use of renewable energy sources.
International cooperation regarding the use of renewable energy sources
Under the same roof we will bring together institutions, companies and experts and encourage them to mutual cooperation aimed at increasing the number of facilities taking advantage of energy efficient building and at promoting investments into renewable energy sources.
To reconcile two demands - hunger for energy and the efficient environmental protection - is possible only through a well-balanced selection of energy sources and the environmental protection that is based on strategic documents of the energy sector.

The strength of the Conference on energy efficiency and renewable energy sources is closely connected to the quality of lecturers and participants.
The basic goal is to promote the principle of sustainable development in all segments of the society, at the local, regional and global level.
The public awareness of the need for environmental protection and sustainable energy development is favorable to the promotion of energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources.
The increased use of renewable energy sources is the strategic goal of the European Union since it is in compliance with the sustainable development strategy and leads to reduction of glasshouse gases, environmental protection, lesser dependence on imported energy sources, greater security of energy supply, the possibility to achieve regional development and encourage employment by opening up new jobs.
