The strong earthquake left many people homeless. Many are still sleeping outdoors, and the situation is further exacerbated by the cold weather. To provide emergency assistance to earthquake victims, the cargo-partner teamed up with local organizations and donated twelve new containers for those who lost their homes.

Zoran Starčević, General Manager of Cargo Partners in Croatia, recognizes the need for a quick solution:
- Despite the cold and snow, many people are currently sleeping outside or in their cars. Since many of these families own livestock, they must stay close to their homes. We are doing everything to provide help where it is needed as soon as possible, said Starčević

Assistance of cargo partner teams in seven countries

In addition to the team of cargo partners in Croatia, which donated five containers, the action was joined by employees of cargo partners from Austria, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Romania and Serbia. The General Manager of cargo partner in Croatia sees this initiative as a confirmation of the corporate values ​​of logistics suppliers:

- Our corporate motto "we take it personally" includes a strong sense of social responsibility and solidarity. In addition to the donation of our company, I would also like to thank our employees in Croatia, who immediately organized themselves privately and collected money to donate to those most affected by the earthquake, said Starčević.
