SUMMARY:Performance of the contract in exceptional circumstances
DESCRIPTION:This webinar will be an accessible and dynamic way to discuss possibilities of fulfilling contracts, modifying or terminating contracts in the event of exceptional circumstances when performance of the contract becomes excessively difficult for one of the parties to the contract. Also, it will be explained which circumstances are considered to be exceptional according to the case law i.e. whether epidemics, pandemics, earthquakes, sudden falls or price spikes, administrative measures by public authorities, or something else are considered to be exceptional circumstances. The participants will also be informed of domestic and foreign case law in similar cases.
