The air transportation costs from China have multiplied in the midst of the pandemic due to the cancellation of passenger flights, but the situation has slowly begun to stabilize during the summer. Since the beginning of the crisis, due to numerous flight cancellations, airlines have been redirected to charter flights and rail freight, mostly from China to Europe.

Rail transportation between China and Europe has greatly increased comparing to the last year. As the economic crisis caused by the global pandemic continues, the recovery of under capacity supply chains still continues. Therefore, the goods are being transported to and from Europe by freight trains and ships. Rail freight is an excellent and reliable solution in terms of cost and transit time.
