American Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Ministry of economy, entrepreneurship and crafts is organizing a training workshop in Public Procurement on the topic of the most common mistakes contracting authorities make in preparation of procurement documentation and appeals from the practice of the DKOM.
The topic of the first workshop is “The most common mistakes contracting authorities make in preparation of procurement documentation and appeals from the practice of the DKOM”. Additional topics that will be covered at the workshop include the need to prove the legal link between the bidders' community at the delivery stage in the procurement, reliance on the ability and the need to prove the execution of a part of the contract at the bidding stage, determining penalties in cases where the delivery deadline is one of the bidding criteria, link between certificates (including ISO standards) and the subject of procurement, discretion limit of the contracting authority in seeking confirmation of "good standings", the difference between proof of ability and selection criteria.
The workshop is intended for AmCham members. Working language will be Croatian. Persons with a valid certificate in the Public Procurement will be eligible for points during certificate renewal. Number of places at the workshop is limited.
Registration will be opened in September.
