The aim of this conference is not only to show positive examples of successful Croatian companies in different sectors who apply best practices in managing their organizations, but also to point openly to problems, and recognize and discuss best common practices for improvement. The organizer's wish is to make this year's meeting, as well as those that follow, a place to exchange opinions, ask questions and seek answers on how to stimulate, develop and upgrade the culture of quality in today's dynamic environment. Special emphasis will be placed on the need to conform to the requirements of international management-systems standards, on compliance with European and national laws and regulations, sustainable development, social responsibility and human competence as a precondition for achieving global competitiveness in the 21st century.

Interesting topics at this year's conference come from the fields of the economy, public administration, production, health, education, tourism, environmental management and food safety, public communications, ethics, leadership, innovation, information security and other areas. The invited lecturers are renowned experts from Croatia and the region who will present the current themes in the plenary part of the program. In addition to the invited lectures, the program envisages around thirty section and poster presentations with discussions.

In 2018, the Croatian Society for Quality celebrates 25 years of existence. One of the most beautiful cities in the world and a lot of interesting topics and events guarantee a pleasant and productive stay at this conference.
