Francis Lepoutre has an extensive background in finance and strategic business management, and he has taken up since 1st November 2024 the position of General Manager Roche Croatia.
Until taking up his current role, Francis was Business Unit head Neuromuscular Diseases for the Roche France affiliate, based in Paris. He led a cross-functional team of access, analytics, customer experience, field engagement, finance, marketing and medical - to achieve market leadership in the disease area. Prior to that, he has built a robust career track in the finance area through positions with increased responsibilities.
Among these he was Head of Finance, Transformation & Business Services (CFO) for Roche France, overseeing a team of finance, procurement, logistics, IT, site services, communications and change management for the French commercial affiliate. Key achievements have been leading the transformation of the affiliate into an agile and outcomes-focused organization; development of external partnership, improved performance delivery model and team coaching which all significantly enhanced the organization’s operational efficiency and market presence.
Beyond this, Francis is dedicated to corporate social responsibility and inclusivity, co-sponsoring local CSR initiatives and leading diversity networks like OPEN France. Before that, Francis was the global Head of Roche Pharma Technical Development Finance, based in San Francisco; CFO Roche in Hong Kong and initially joined the company in a rotational development program that took him into different parts of the business and geographies (Spain, China, Switzerland).
Before joining Roche in 2008, Francis honed his skills at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Auditor and M&A Executive, setting the stage for his career in finance and business leadership.
