The third lecture of this year's AmCham Talents 2025 program was delivered by Francis Lepoutre, General Manager of ROCHE Croatia.
Francis Lepoutre, originally from Belgium, is a dynamic and results-driven international business professional with extensive experience in finance and strategic business management. As of November 1, 2024, he assumed the role of General Manager of Roche Croatia.
Before taking on his current role, Francis led the neuromuscular disease business unit at Roche France, based in Paris. He headed a cross-functional team that included experts in market access, analytics, customer experience, field collaboration, finance, marketing, and medicine — with the goal of achieving market leadership in the therapeutic area.
In addition, Francis is dedicated to corporate social responsibility and inclusivity, co-sponsoring local CSR initiatives and leading diversity networks such as OPEN France.
Previously, he served as Global Head of Finance for Technical Development at Roche Pharma, based in San Francisco; CFO of Roche in Hong Kong; and initially joined the company through a rotational development program that took him across various areas of the business and different regions (Spain, China, Switzerland).
Francis shared his international experiences with the audience and guided them on what is needed to develop a career in the desired direction. He also presented the skills required today to facilitate career advancement.
