Croatian Volleyball Federation and its representatives initiated several Humanitarian interventions to help those in need in Petrinja and Glina.
We kindly ask all people of good will, volleyball fans and those ready to help to involve in these actions cause together we can do a lot for those in need.
Epicenter of an earthquake located in Petrinja devastated this area on 29th of December leaving several death casualties and many of its residents without home.
We are sad to inform that in this occurrence Marina Tomić Šantek, Croatian volleyball coach, lost her father and brother while their home was devastated. Croatian Volleyball Federation initiated aid to help Marina and her family.
Other humanitarian aid was initiated by the captain of women’s national volleyball team, Samanta Fabris, to help the victims of this earthquake who lost their homes.
Samanta and other national representatives used social network channels to reach as many of their followers and volleyball fans as they can with single goal on their mind - ask them to support this action and to participate in it. Their goal is to collect at least 10.000 EUR.
