The topic of the meeting was AmCham’s Position Paper “Human Capital Map as a Basis for Attracting Investments and Boosting Employment”. Representatives of AmCham emphasized the importance of developing a national database that would include all relevant information on candidate profiles available for employment. In addition to basic information on candidate profiles, it is also important for employers to have insight into candidate skills, including knowledge of foreign languages, in a particular region or city. A transparent and easily accessible database of available candidate profiles would greatly help potential investors to make a decision on investing in Croatia. 

In addition to the Human Capital Map a number of other topics were discussed including the current measures of the Ministry for employment incentives, the Croatian labor market and possible ways of future cooperation between the Ministry and AmCham.
