OSAC Program: American Standards for Secure Global Business

AmCham is organizing an introductory presentation of the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) program - a useful resource in protecting your assets from various security threats.

Security threats around the world are constantly evolving, which is why organizations need a reliable support network to stay informed and prepared. The Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC), operating under the U.S. Department of State, connects public and private sector security professionals to provide comprehensive security support to organizations operating abroad.

This introductory session will provide a broad overview of OSAC - a vital public-private partnership that connects the Diplomatic Security Service with private-sector organizations operating abroad. Mr. Gregory Drazek, Regional Security Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Croatia, will present the program and explain how OSAC supports its member organizations through real-time threat information, crisis response, training, and ongoing security collaboration.

OSAC is a global network for sharing security information all across the world which was created in 1985 to promote security cooperation between the American private sector and the U.S. government. Today, it brings together over 18,000 representatives from approximately 5,400 organizations – including businesses, educational institutions, non-governmental organizations, and religious groups.

The event will take place on Tuesday, 17 June, 2025 from 10:00 until 12:00 hours at the U.S. Embassy in Croatia (Thomasa Jeffersona 2).

This event is for AmCham members only and it is free of charge. The event will be conducted in English language and the format is in-person only. The seating is limited, and it will be assigned on a first come first served basis so please make sure to apply by June 16, the latest via the application link.
