Mr. James Carafano (Vice President and the E.W. Richardson Fellow) and Mr. Anthony Kim (Research Manager and Editor of the Index of Economic Freedom) of the Heritage Foundation visited AmCham on July 20 and discussed AmCham Croatia’s views on importance of the visa waver program and double taxation treaty between Croatia and the US. AmCham's Executive Director presented arguments in favor of a Double Taxation Treaty. It was agreed to cooperate on these topics and guests invited future AmCham Croatia’s business delegation to visit them while in Washington DC. After their delegation visited Croatia, The Daily Signal, a news/commentary outlet of the Heritage Foundation issued an article.
