AmCham Executive Lunch with Ms. Lago, U.S. Under Secretary of Commerce

AmCham was pleased to organize Executive Lunch with Ms. Marisa Lago, Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade, U.S. Department of Commerce. Ms. Lago gave a speech about the Biden-Harris Administration priorities and discussed the top priorities for U.S. companies doing business in Croatia.  

Ms. Marisa Lago visited Croatia to join the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Croatia-U.S. bilateral relations.

Marisa Lago, Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade visited Croatia on April 3-4 to commemorate the 26th anniversary of the Secretary Ron Brown delegation’s plane crash near Dubrovnik and to join the celebration of the 30th anniversary of U.S.-Croatia bilateral relations. 

She was appointed by President Joseph R. Biden and sworn in on December 28, 2021, to lead the federal government’s efforts to assist American businesses entering or expanding into international markets, enforce fair trade policies, promote travel and tourism to the United States and U.S. products and services overseas, provide in-depth trade analyses, develop strategies that will shape the future of international trade, and engage in commercial diplomacy across the globe.
