Boardroom Discussions: 5G implementation and preparations for its usage in companies

At the last session of the fourth generation of the award-winning program the keynote speakers were Tonko Obuljen, Chairman of the Council, Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM), and Nives Sandri, Nokia Solutions and Networks.

The new 5G technology thanks to its key characteristics is adapted for application in different sectors of the economy. Its application significantly increases productivity, that is, it contributes to better utilization of resources. 5G is certainly the base, but also the catalyst for the digital transformation of business. 5G with AI provides process automation that will ensure that human resources are engaged in more complex work. There are different "use cases" in different economic sectors that are also in different stages of implementation, but one thing is certain - they will be in everyday use very soon. The use of 5G infrastructure also contributes to environmental sustainability in business, which is an aspect that cannot be ignored nowadays. 5G is also one of the essential components of the European Union's Digital Decade 2030.
