The panel ‘What does entry into the eurozone bring to the Croatian entrepreneurs’ offered answers to key questions regarding the introduction of the euro, and as a part of the panel, application process began for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2022, a prestigious award for entrepreneurs. Applications or nominations of entrepreneurs can be submitted until the end of November via eoy.ey.com.

The challenges and opportunities of the introduction of the euro faced by domestic entrepreneurship were discussed by Emil Tedeschi, President of the Management Board of Atlantic Grupa and President of the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year judging panel, Stiven Toš and Miljenko Borščak of Bomark Pak, winners of the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2021 award, Krešimir Barić, member of the Management Board of Erste bank, the general sponsor of the program, and Berislav Horvat, Country Managing Partner in EY Croatia.

"The fact that we have raised our credit rating in the time of the crisis, entering the eurozone and the Schengen, is a civilizational success. This becomes even more important in the crisis of all crises that we are currently facing, but the truth is that what doesn’t destroy you, makes you stronger", commented Emil Tedeschi.

As part of the panel, Berislav Horvat opened the application process for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2022 program: "With this program, we are building a better working world and we have proven that we have incredibly many good entrepreneurial stories. It is important to create a positive climate and popularize the role of the entrepreneurs in the society to convince young people that it is possible to succeed".

Application process is open until November 30 via the website eoy.ey.com, and you can nominate your own or someone else's successful entrepreneurial story.
