The primary goal of the conference is informing, raising awareness, and networking the business community and financial sector in order to achieve the quickest possible transition to a low-carbon sustainable economy through collaborative efforts. By sharing knowledge, practices, ideas and projects, we enable a significant increase in the level of social and personal responsibility in the direction of sustainability and help companies introduce new work and management models to ensure stable future growth.

This year's conference is dedicated to the business and financial sectors with an emphasis on funding sources, in order to provide answers to the questions of what are the reasons for financing climate action and what are all the sources of funds for financing projects related to climate change. The role of ESG in the context of climate action will be discussed in detail, as well as why it is critical for the entire business and financial sector to incorporate ESG criteria as soon as possible.

Bearing in mind the importance of this topic, we are extremely honoured to present this year's conference keynote speaker, Mr. Javier Manzanares Allen, who is co-chair of Green Climate DAO, an independent climate organization that aims to encourage climate action through financing resilience projects. He was also the long-term executive director of the Green Climate Fund from South Korea. The GCF is the world's largest climate fund and a unique global platform for responding to climate change, and its role is to invest the collected funds in various projects in developing countries. It was established by 194 world governments in 2010 to limit or reduce greenhouse gas emissions in developing countries and to help vulnerable societies financially adapt to the inevitable impacts of climate change.

In addition, in cooperation with partners, CorpStage from Singapore, IICA conducted a pre-selection for applying to the ESG World Summit & GRIT Awards (June 14th, 2023 - June 16th, 2023, Bangkok), thus at this conference, Dr. Nisha Kohli will present the work of CorpStage and publicly announce the winner (bank and company) that have achieved the right to apply for winning an internationally recognized award in the field of ESG.

With this goal in mind, the panel discussion at this year's Future GREEN Business conference is dedicated to the topic "Why finance climate action and what is the role of ESG".
