Ivan Vlaho to be appointed CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of Zagrebačka banka subject to Croatian National Bank approval

Starting from September 1st 2021, Ivan Vlaho will replace current President of the Bank's Management Board, Romeo Collina who, after 40 successful years in banking sector, will retire.

At a meeting held on April 12 2021, the Supervisory Board of Zagrebačka banka made the decision on the appointment of Ivan Vlaho as a President of the Bank's Management Board and Chief Executive Officer for the period until the expiration of the current mandate of other Management Board members, i.e. until February 7th 2023.

Starting from September 1st 2021, Ivan Vlaho will replace current President of the Bank's Management Board, Romeo Collina who, after 40 successful years in banking sector, will retire.

Furthermore, at the same meeting, the Supervisory Board appointed Jasna Mandac as a Bank's Management Board Member.

Jasna Mandac will replace the current Management Board Member, Lorenzo Ramajola, who will remain in its function until May 1st 2021, after which he will take over a new managerial function within UniCredit Group.

The Decision on appointment of a new Management Board members is subject to approval of the Croatian National Bank. The Bank will inform the public on the date on which a new Management Board members will commence their mandate terms.

Ivan Vlaho

Vlaho started his career in 2000 as a risk analyst at Zagrebačka banka in Mostar, Bosnia-Herzegovina. During his almost 21 years at UniCredit he has held several positions and worked in several UniCredit LEs. From year 2010 to 2013 CEO of UniCredit Bank Banja Luka. From year 2013 to year 2016 CEO of UniCredit Bank Mostar. In 2016 he became Head of CEE Retail of UniCredit. In 2019 Vlaho was appointed Deputy CEO of UniCredit Bank Hungary. Vlaho received his Master's Degree from the Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb.

Jasna Mandac

Mandac joined Zagrebačka banka in 1997 and, after several specialist and managerial positions, became Head of Finance in 2005. In 2007 she was appointed as Head of Strategy, Planning, Budgeting and Controlling and, from September 2007 till 2015, Mandac took the role of Head of Assets and Liability Management. From 2015 to 2017 she took over the position of Head of Market, Liquidity and Operational Risk, Risk Integration and Internal Validation in Zagrebačka banka. From September 2017 she was a CFO in UniCredit Bulbank, Sofia, responsible for finance area in the biggest bank in Bulgaria. Mandac received her Master's Degree from the Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb.
