The State Commission for the Supervision of Public Procurement Procedures organises the largest international gathering of public procurement in Croatia: Legal Protection in Public Procurement - 15 years of the State Commission for the Supervision of Public Procurement Procedures. The conference is under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts, with the support of the European Commission and the American Chamber of Commerce in Croatia. The Academic Partner of the Conference is the Faculty of Law in Zagreb.

The conference will mark 15 years of legal protection in public procurement in the Republic of Croatia, whereby some of the most renowned experts who, everyone in their own way, contributed to the development of public procurement law and in that way to the development of the State Commission for Supervision of Public Procurement Procedures, will reflect on experiences and future challenges of the State Commission.

In addition to marking the 15th anniversary of the State Commission, the goal of the conference is to bring together domestic and foreign experts and members of the academic community to discuss various subjects in the field of legal protection in public procurement, taking into account the views of the contracting authority, the tenderer and the appellant, as well as administrative courts. Such discussion will surely contribute to the development of public procurement law and its application in practice.

At the conference participants will have the opportunity to hear experienced professors, judges, attorneys, members of the State Commission and other experts acting in the field of public procurement in the Republic of Croatia and the European Union.

The conference is intended for contracting authorities, tenderers, public procurement license holders, public and private sector, scientific and academic community at the level of the Republic of Croatia and the European Union.

Participants of the conference will have the opportunity to hear the latest experiences and observations from the field of legal protection in Public Procurement in the Republic of Croatia and beyond. Also, the participants will get the insight into the current implementation of some disputable institutes of Public Procurement and Legal Protection, from the perspective of experienced professionals.
