The film "Ferrari" leaves no one indifferent, and the large audience response confirms the great interest in a well-crafted film story.
The film "Ferrari" intrigued the omnipresent audience, following the professional and private problems that affected the Ferrari family in the summer of 1957 when their factory was on the brink of bankruptcy.
The biographical film about the legendary entrepreneur Enzo Ferrari, portrayed by Adam Driver in the film, depicts him as a complicated, contradictory, and most importantly, real person. The period of his life that best represents this man begins with the death of his son in 1956, the tragic Mille Miglia race in 1957, and everything that followed. While the film focuses on the main character as a person, cars are what give Ferrari the perfect balance between human drama and road action set in a time when no safety measures were considered during races. The director himself, who Mr. Krstulović knows well, emphasizes how some shocking scenes are portrayed in a way that viewers might not expect, which further adds to Ferrari's authenticity and power of the events.
Alongside Adam Driver, the film also stars Penélope Cruz as Enzo's wife Laura, Shailene Woodley as Enzo's lover Lina, and Patrick Dempsey as Ferrari driver Piero Taruffi. Other roles are filled by Sarah Gadon, Jack O'Connell, Derek Hill, Daniela Piperno, Leonardo Caimi, and Gabriel Leone.
Mann's "Ferrari" is a film predicted to win numerous awards, and it has already received ovations at this year's Venice Film Festival where it had its premiere.
