The Supervisory Board of PEVEX unanimously appointed Ivan Jukić as a member of the Management Board from 1 January 2021, for a period of five years. As a member of PEVEX Management Board, he will be responsible for some of the most dynamic sectors - marketing, wholesale and human resources.

For the last eight years, Jukić excelled in the water and municipal sector, performing the role of a member of Management Board of Vodovod-Osijek d.o.o. and President of Management Board of Croatian Water and Sewerage Group (HGVIK).

In parallel, since 2018, he has been the director of Vodovod-Montaže d.o.o., a construction company that carries out works throughout the Republic of Croatia.

PEVEX has shown that as a company it can maintain a high level and realize all plans in one of the most difficult years behind us. Therefore, it is a great honor for me to join this successful team and I believe that with the acquired knowledge, skills and abilities I will contribute to the achievement of further goals and business success, said Jukić after his appointment.

PEVEX currently has 26 retail centers across Croatia, and employs around 2,000 people. Despite the Corona crisis, the company plans to invest in a new business model with delivery centers across Croatia in 2021 to accelerate and further improve cooperation with suppliers and further increase customer availability of the approximately 50,000 products offered by PEVEX.

The company also invested significantly in safety at work and shopping during the pandemic and received the Croatian Association award from Security Managers for "the best business sector project to achieve community safety" for the introduction of thermal imaging cameras.
