Over the years, the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year , the national edition of the program has gathered over 240 entrepreneurs who prove that domestic entrepreneurship can compete on the world's entrepreneurial stage.
The award for the first EY Entrepreneur Of The Year was won by Alan Sumina and Zoran Vučinić from Nanobit. A year later, Đuro Horvat from Tehnix celebrated, and Marko Pipunić from the Osijek company Žito was announced as the winner in 2016. This recognition at the fourth edition of the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year went to Mate Rimac, the founder and owner of Rimac Group. Silvio Kutić, Roberto Kutić and Izabel Jelenić from Infobip celebrated at the fifth anniversary edition. The sixth award went to Hrvoje Josip Balen, Mislav Balković and Tomislav Dominković from Algebra. The award for the seventh EY Entrepreneur Of The Year was won by Miljenko Borščak and Stiven Toš from Bomark Pak. The last candidate to take the prestigious title home was Vjekoslav Majetić from the DOK-ING company, and which entrepreneur will be declared the winner of the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year award for 2023 will be known at the official announcement in March 2024.
The ninth edition of the program testifies to the strong and growing entrepreneurial community in Croatia and continuously boosts the entrepreneurial climate in the country. In addition, the program offers the winners of the national edition the opportunity to present their successes at the prestigious world finals in the company of other successful entrepreneurs from all over the world.
