Global Five Point Plan by Pfizer to battle COVID-19 and donations in Croatia

Pfizer globally put all the efforts explained in Global Five Point Plan on the R&D department trying to develop an investigational antiviral compound to treat SARS-CoV-2. Pfizer Croatia in the period of COVID-19 crises and additionally damaged hospitals due to earthquake donated together 46.500€, 2 laptops and volunteers.

First of all Pfizer colleges would like to express great thanks to all healthcare workers and let them know that we appreciate their priceless work for patients and for all of us in current crises conditions. We are grateful that they are performing it professionally and heartily.

Pfizer has been working tirelessly to help countries and societies to fight against the COVID-19:

  • In terms of safety, minimizing the risk of spreading virus and government instructions we took appropriate steps to protect our colleges and patients
  • We immediately introduced work from home for all employees
  • We increased usage of digital channels for continuous information about our products and services as needed
  • We guaranteed supply of our medicines without any disruptions what is consistently and diligently monitored

Pfizer globally put all the efforts explained in Global Five Point Plan on the R&D department trying to develop an investigational antiviral compound to treat SARS-CoV-2, which causes the current pandemic of coronavirus infections (COVID-19), evaluating other therapies that have scientific potential to help infected patients fight the virus and develop vaccine to prevent infection.

Beside Global Plan Pfizer has organized in many affiliates at local level supporting communities, healthcare institutions and governments through different Donation programs. In this context Pfizer globally donated 40 Million USD in Charitable Grants. There are also many colleagues mobilized globally as volunteers to help governments at fight against COVID-19 all over the Globe.

Pfizer Croatia in the period of COVID-19 crises and additionally damaged hospitals due to earthquake donated together 46.500€, 2 laptops and volunteers:

  • 10.000€ to the Children Hospital Klaićeva
  • 10.000€ to the KBC Sestre Milosrdnice
  • 10.000€ to the KBC Rebro
  • 15.000€ to the Croatian Chamber of Pharmacists for Project of delivering medicines to patients homes
  • 1.500€ to the Cardiollogy clinic at KBC Sestre Milosrdnice for protective visirs
  • 2 Laptops for PAG Sve za nju to enable them to work from home
  • Offered colleges with medical background as volunteers at National Call Center.
