At the initiative of our members, AmCham is launching a Task Force that will focus on ESG (environment, society and governance) topics.
The aim of establishing the Task Force is to exchange members' experiences, identify potential problems and formulate issues and areas for which the competent authorities should provide support and offer answers to the business community regarding the implementation of ESG principles.
The European Union has defined the creation of measures to improve the ESG transparency of the methodology of reference values and the initiative to set standards for the methodology of reference values for low carbon emissions in the Union.
Sustainable finance refers to the process of taking environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues into account when making investment decisions in the financial sector, leading to more long-term investment in sustainable economic activities and projects.
