The conference will be held in memory of the late Professor Vedran Šoljan, one of Croatia's pioneers in the field of competition law and it traditionally offers a platform for discussion about recent antitrust developments, with a focus on Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and South-East Europe (SEE).

The conference will be organised by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Croatia – Commission on Competition and The Croatian Chamber of Economy in cooperation with The University of Zagreb, Faculty of Economics and Business (EFZG), Croatian Association of Competition Law and Policy (HDPPTN), Academic Society for Competition Law (ASCOLA) SEE Chapter & Academic Society for Competition Law (ASCOLA) CE Chapter.

Topics include e-commerce and vertical restraints; reform of horizontal guidelines; digital markets act and e-platforms; right of defence in competition law; challenges in applying the competition law in the CEE and SEE countries; recent developments in the CEE and SEE region.

This year, an additional half-day parallel program “Competition Compliance Training – Brushing Up on Your Do’s and Don’ts” will be held, which will cover the basic concepts and rules of the EU and Croatian competition regulations.
