The organizers of the campaign and the Festival are the Scout Association of Croatia, the Civil Protection Directorate, the Croatian Red Cross, the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service and the Croatian Community of Technical Culture. Sponsors are the Central State Office for Demography and Youth, the Office of the European Parliament in Croatia, the American Chamber of Commerce in Croatia and Messengers of Peace - a program of the World Scout Organization.

The Skills for Life Festival, the first such festival in Croatia, will be open to the public, and will offer young people from all over Croatia the opportunity to participate for free in more than 100 different activities and workshops. The festival takes place from July 29 to August 1 in Lovinac in Lika. We invite all those interested to join us for free at the Festival, come for one, two or three days and participate in the activities that we organize with numerous partners," announced the Association of Scouts of Croatia. The Festival is accompanied by an interactive campaign called "Skills for life - a road map for a better world" through the website www.vjestinezazivot.hr, which popularizes the learning and use of life skills and highlights their importance in navigating through life, all through experiences and examples of campaign organizers.

"In addition to life skills, we learn how to navigate in an unfamiliar environment, how to call for help or help someone, how to climb, orient yourself in nature, but also in life. Along with life skills, we learn how to live in harmony with nature and how to overcome the challenges of the material world. A significant role in the implementation of this campaign is played by our partners, who know firsthand the importance of life skills and implement them in their everyday lives. And where better to sharpen your skills for life than at the first Croatian Festival of Skills for Life in Lovinac" - announced Dan Špicer, business director of the Scout Association of Croatia and invited everyone to come with their children to the Festival of Skills for Life in Lovinac.
