AmCham Circle: Summer Edition

The gathering provided an opportunity to get to know the newest members more closely, exchange perspectives among companies from different industries, and open new conversations within the AmCham business community.

In her welcome remarks, Andrea Doko Jelušić, Executive Director of AmCham Croatia, emphasized that the greatest value of the AmCham community lies in bringing people and companies together, and in creating space for knowledge exchange, partnership development, and collective work on issues that matter for the business environment in Croatia.

A special focus of the event was placed on the new members that joined AmCham Croatia in 2026. Participants had the opportunity to discover them through a digital presentation displayed during the gathering, as well as through a digital booklet with profiles of the newest members, available by scanning a QR code.

This year’s summer gathering was an opportunity to mark the 250th anniversary of American independence, an important historical milestone for the United States and a meaningful occasion for the American business community in Croatia. On this occasion, Evyenia Sidereas, newly appointed Deputy Chief of Mission, U.S. Embassy Zagreb, delivered remarks during her first meeting with AmCham Croatia members.

The event also highlighted the importance of the enduring partnership between Croatia and the United States, built on trade, investment, innovation, entrepreneurship, and the exchange of knowledge. For Croatian companies, the U.S. market represents not only an important economic partner, but also a space for growth, business expansion, new ideas, and opportunities.
