Tamara Rendić graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb in 1997. She began her career at KPMG Croatia in the audit department for financial institutions, where she spent 14 years building extensive experience in the financial sector. In October 2012, she joined Wiener osiguranje Vienna Insurance Group as CFO and Member of the Management Board, responsible for finance, accounting, legal affairs, and claims management.

In July 2023, she was appointed President of the Management Board of Wiener osiguranje, taking on the leadership of one of Croatia’s leading insurance companies at a time marked by economic uncertainty, shifting customer expectations, and increasingly complex market conditions.

Throughout her career, Tamara Rendić has continuously invested in her professional development through a range of executive and specialist education programs, including ACCA, the qualification of Certified Croatian Auditor, IEDC – Bled School of Management, and the VIG Leadership Development Program.

Her professional path combines strong financial discipline with broad managerial responsibility, giving her a valuable perspective on how leaders make sound decisions in environments where certainty is limited and resilience is essential.

In her lecture, Tamara Rendić will share insights into the role of leadership in times of uncertainty, with a particular focus on how to make bold but responsible decisions when markets are unpredictable and organizations are expected to remain both agile and stable.
