Boardroom Discussions - Future of Work

AmCham is pleased to announce fifth generation of award winning program "Boardroom Discussions: Digital Transformation from CEO Perspective".

At the first session the keynote speaker Marko Radenović, McKinsey & Company presented findings of McKinsey's Future of Work report.

Around 340 thousand current jobs in Croatia are expected to disappear by 2030 due to automation and digitalization (whose adoption rate was further accelerated by COVID-19), but these losses are expected to be offset by roughly the same number of new jobs in new occupations and growing industries, as well as due to overall increase in productivity.

Still, while the net demand for labor force will basically stay the same, there will be significant changes in the occupational structure. Consequently, up to 140 thousand workers in Croatia will need to be reskilled into a different occupation to remain employed.

Sessions are targeting CEO’s, Board Members and General Managers of AmCham member companies interested to hear from IT leaders and top management consulting companies as well as peers from different industries about digital transformation trends and operational steps.
