Kearney: Resilience on Unsteady Ground – The CEO Playbook

Under the title Resilience on Unsteady Ground – The CEO Playbook, Marko Derča, Managing Partner leading Kearney’s Digital Transformation team in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), will present analytically grounded insights on how Croatia and Southeast Europe can convert today’s disruptions into tomorrow’s advantage. The event will take place on January 28, 2026, from 18:00 to 20:00, at the Esplanade Hotel, Paris room.

The presentation will decode the global outlook for 2025–2027, in an environment defined by rapidly shifting policies, trade tensions and uneven economic growth. It will also provide pragmatic resilience tools: from rewiring supply chains and smart capital positioning to cross-border risk management in a time of rising trade friction.

Particular focus will be given to the regional context, examining where the strengths that can be scaled currently lie, as well as the vulnerabilities that require immediate action, including exposure to energy and food imports, the potential of the defense industry and the digital talent gap. The emphasis will be on concrete actions that executive leaders can implement now, including rapid AI-enabled productivity gains and portfolio diversification aligned with the new geopolitical rules of the game.
