Member seminar: Unconscious bias in the workplace

At the Member Seminar of The Institute for Research and Education Employed Mom led by Mr.Sc. Diana Kobas Dešković, MBA, we talked about unconscious bias.

The most known are gender, race or age biases. According to The EU directive about the balance of private and business life for the real equality of men and women, fathers of newborn children will have 10 mandatory days for childcare. National legislations have 2-3 years to adjust. We also completed the Harvad Implicit Test of our personal bias map, and the conclusion of the seminar was:     

  • We are all inclined to bias.
