AmCham Gala Evening 2026

As one of the most prominent annual gatherings of Croatia’s business community, this year’s Gala Evening once again provided an opportunity to connect, exchange experiences, and celebrate the longstanding partnerships that bring together business, institutions, and the international community.

Throughout the year, AmCham organizes nearly 70 events in various formats, ranging from professional conferences and meetings with institutional representatives to business delegations and leadership development programs for young professionals. Alongside its ongoing dialogue with key stakeholders, an important part of AmCham’s work takes place through its committees, where the knowledge and experience of member companies are translated into concrete recommendations for the development of the Croatian economy.

This is precisely why the Gala Evening holds a special place in AmCham’s annual calendar. It brings together people who collaborate on numerous initiatives and projects throughout the year, offering an opportunity to strengthen the relationships that underpin successful, long-term cooperation in a setting beyond their everyday business activities.

Supporting Children and Young People

A central part of this year’s Gala Evening was its charitable initiative, through which AmCham donated a total of €20,000 to Hrabri telefon and SOS Children’s Village Croatia, two organizations dedicated to protecting children, supporting their well-being, and helping them grow up in safe and nurturing environments.

Hrabri telefon provides counselling and psychosocial support to children, young people, and families, while SOS Children’s Village Croatia provides care and support to children without adequate parental care and helps young people transition towards independent living.

Representatives of both organizations, Hana Hrpka, Executive Director and President of Hrabri telefon, and Višnja Tuškan Krupić, National Director of SOS Children’s Village Croatia, took part in the evening’s program and highlighted the importance of their work.

Beyond the financial contribution, AmCham aims to raise awareness of both organizations among the business community and encourage further support and future partnerships with its member companies.

An Elegant Evening with Exceptional Musical Performances

The performance by the Zagreb Soloists, one of Croatia’s most distinguished chamber ensembles, brought a special artistic dimension to this year’s Gala Evening. With their international reputation and longstanding tradition of musical excellence, the ensemble has made a significant contribution to Croatia’s cultural landscape.

The evening, hosted by Romina Knežić, continued with a performance by Projekt 7, featuring musical performances by Duška Brčić Šušak and Filip Rudan, while DJ Ivan Škrinjarić provided the music for the dancing that followed.

The elegant setting of the Crystal Ballroom, outstanding musical performances, and The Westin Zagreb’s culinary offerings, complemented by tastings of partner products, created a memorable atmosphere for an evening dedicated to bringing the AmCham community together.
