The responsibilities of the CIB are specified in the Croatian Insurance Law, the Compulsory Traffic Insurance Law and the CIB Statutes. CIB also undertakes activities related to the Croatian insurance industry representation in international organisations (Insurance Europe, Council of Bureaux, IUMI); Motor Vehicle Liability Frontier Insurance; insurance market statistics; complaints resolution (Insurance Ombudsman); out-of-court disputes settlement (Mediation Centre); educational programmes across all insurance lines (Insurance Education Centre) and other activities in the common interest of the Croatian insurance industry.
