From the very beginning, HS Produkt has been oriented towards the production of semi-automatic pistols. The first models of semi-automatic pistols developed and produced by HS Produkt were PHP (First Croatian Pistol) and HS-95. Based on the knowledge of the development and production of the previously mentioned pistols, HS Produkt has created a modern polymer pistol HS 2000. The quality of the HS 2000 is recognized throughout the world. In mid-2001, HS Produkt signed an exclusive long-term contract with the American company Springfield Armory, and the cooperation still lasts today. The true quality of pistols produced by HS are NRA (National Rifle Association) Best Pistols in the USA Awards 2003, 2006, 2009, 2013, 2018, 2020 and 2023. Another proof of quality of HS products is the assignment of NSN (NATO Stock - NATO code number), which gives HS pistols equal status in the weapons system used by NATO member countries. Pistols and rifles produced by HS Produkt are the official weapons of the Croatian police and army, and over the years they have been implemented in official use by police and military forces in countries such as the USA, France, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, Poland, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Tunisia, Togo, Vietnam, Jordan, Iraq, Cameroon, Senegal, Brazil, etc. HS Produkt products are exported to about 50 countries around the world. In period from 2001 to the end of 2024, HS Produkt d.o.o. sold over 7 million pistols worldwide. In addition to semi-automatic pistols, HS Produkt offers a complete system for equipping soldiers, which includes a 5.56x45 mm VHS-2 assault rifle, a 40x46 mm grenade launcher and a CT-l.5x optical sight. During the year of 2025, the company starts serial production of sub-machine gun KUNA, which achieves significant sales results and arouses the interest of customers all over the world. Today, HS Produkt is a modern factory with more than 1850 employees, the most advanced technology for the production of infantry weapons and one of the factories with the largest production capacity in the whole world in its branch.
