128th Congress of the Croatian Health Employers' Association – Focus on Business, Management and System Organization
The Croatian Health Employers' Association is organizing the 128th Congress of Healthcare Employers, which will take place on May 22–23, 2025, in Vodice, at Hotel Olympia.
The central focus of the program is the business operations of healthcare institutions, management models, work organization, and the financial sustainability of the healthcare system.
During the Congress, the Minister of Health, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Irena Hrstić, will deliver a presentation titled “Path to a Sustainable Healthcare System”, in which she will outline the key goals and directions of upcoming healthcare reforms.
The program includes thematic panels and expert lectures aimed at analyzing the current system and defining new approaches to contracting, financing, and healthcare governance. Topics include:
- Assessment of the current system and strategic planning for the future
- The role of the Croatian Health Insurance Fund (HZZO) in regulating and contracting healthcare services
- Business innovation in healthcare management from the employer perspective
- Panels on primary care, hospital operations, supplementary physician work, and integration of digital services
- Pharmaceutical policy, collective bargaining, cancer care outcomes, drug safety, and innovative treatment models
The Congress brings together decision-makers, healthcare managers, and service providers, creating a platform for dialogue and knowledge exchange with healthcare administration and field experts.
