AmCham Croatia Supports U.S.–Croatia Business Connections in New York

The Forum, organized by the Croatian Chamber of Economy (HGK) and the Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ), brought together approximately 70 U.S. and 35 Croatian companies from a broad range of sectors, including energy, defense, technology, manufacturing, food and tourism.

Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković participated in the Forum and discussed Croatia’s economic development, investment environment and opportunities for further strengthening economic relations between Croatia and the United States. The program included a fireside chat with the Prime Minister, followed by B2B meetings and networking between Croatian and U.S. business representatives.

AmCham Croatia supported the Forum by reaching out to its U.S. business network and facilitating the participation and connections of representatives of several leading American companies. Among the U.S. companies connected with the Forum through AmCham Croatia were Lockheed Martin, Bell, Vertiv, Leidos Gibbs & Cox IBM and Fortinet. AmCham Croatia Executive Director, Andrea Doko Jelušić said: “AmCham Croatia was pleased to support the Forum by connecting leading U.S. companies with Croatian businesses and decision-makers. Direct contacts such as these are essential for turning the strong relationship between Croatia and the United States into concrete business partnerships and investment opportunities.”

The discussions provided an opportunity for U.S. companies to learn more about Croatia’s business and investment environment and to establish direct contacts with Croatian companies interested in partnerships and expansion in the U.S. market.

The Forum took place at a time of growing economic exchange between the two countries. Bilateral trade reached almost USD 1 billion in the first six months of 2026, while cooperation continues to expand in areas such as energy, defense, digital technologies, advanced manufacturing and other high-value-added industries.

For AmCham Croatia, strengthening economic relations between Croatia and the United States remains one of the organization’s core priorities. Direct business-to-business connections, combined with dialogue with government decision-makers, can help create new investment opportunities, support Croatian companies entering the U.S. market and encourage further U.S. investment and business engagement in Croatia.
