Bogdan Chirita Appointed as General Manager for Coca-Cola Adria

With nearly a decade of tenure at Coca-Cola and a proven track record of leading transformative commercial strategies across European markets, Chirita brings significant expertise to his new leadership role in the Adria region. Working in tandem with the company's bottling partner, Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company, Chirita will spearhead a bold strategic vision focused on sustainable business growth and the development of locally relevant, consumer-centric initiatives.

“It is a privilege to lead Coca-Cola in markets where our brands are so deeply woven into the local culture and daily life,” said Chirita. “I look forward to collaborating with our talented teams and partners to drive the next chapter of innovation and shared success across the region. I also want to extend my sincere gratitude to my predecessor Gjorgji Hristov, for his exceptional leadership, which has established a strong foundation for our continued market growth.”

Chirita most recently served as Franchise Operations Director for Coca-Cola Italy, where he managed the strategic and operational agenda for one of the company's most vital European markets. His career also includes pivotal leadership roles in Romania, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia, where he specialized in revenue growth management and business transformation. He holds an MBA from IMD Business School and a master’s degree from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies.

Chirita succeeds Gjorgji Hristov, who has transitioned to the role of General Manager for Coca-Cola Greece and Cyprus. Hristov leaves a significant legacy in the Adria region, having been instrumental in strengthening market leadership and fostering key strategic partnerships.
