Boris Miljavac Receives HSUP Award for Managerial Achievement
Boris Miljavac, President of the Management Board of Siemens Energy Croatia, received an award from the Croatian Gas Association (HSUP) at a special ceremony marking Gas Day for managerial achievement in economic and technological development and exemplary leadership of a gas-sector company.
Boris Miljavac has led Siemens Energy in Croatia since November 2019. Under his leadership, the company has focused on the reliability of gas facilities, infrastructure modernization and flexible technologies that support renewable energy sources.
Numerous important projects and achievements marked the business year, notably the installation of two SGT-800 gas turbines at the EL-TO Zagreb power plant, a turbine inspection at the TE-TO Sisak power plant, and a green hydrogen project at the Rijeka Refinery.
Thanking HSUP and Dalibor Pudić, Miljavac said: “This award belongs not only to me, but also to my colleagues at Siemens Energy and all our partners. Croatia’s energy sector is facing significant opportunities today. We are building factories, modernizing the grid and expanding our business. I believe that together we will continue to make great strides towards a stronger and more resilient energy sector.”
The award comes in a year of significant milestones. In May, construction began on the KPT2 factory with KONČAR, an investment of approximately EUR 260 million in which Siemens Energy is the majority owner. As of October 1, Wind Power was integrated into Siemens Energy Croatia’s operations, while the integration of Pro Integris, whose primary focus is the digital grid business, is planned for November.
