Certificate of appreciation for demining of Karlovac County

American Chamber of Commerce in Croatia was awarded with the Certificate of appreciation for demining parts of Karlovac County. The funds for demining were raised through the project “Evening for Safe Steps” in 2016. Donation enabled demining of 52.851 m2 of the area by the river Tounjčica in Tounj municipality.
The funds were raised through donations of individuals as well as companies and long-term sponsor of the project, PBZ Card and Wolf Theiss Zagreb.
Since 2001, AmCham’s charity project “Evening for Safe Steps” raised more than 9,3 million kunas for demining areas in seven Croatian counties. At the last year’s dinner that was held on October 4, 2017 in Zagreb, funds were raised for demining of Zadar county.
