EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2026 Croatia: Applications Open

Since its launch in Croatia, around 300 entrepreneurs from over 230 companies have taken part. The program offers far more than an award: it builds a strong network of business leaders, connects young and experienced founders, and highlights inspiring success stories that show how competitive and globally relevant Croatian companies can be.

Each year, an independent jury selects the national winner who represents Croatia at the global EOY competition in Monaco, joining the world’s most successful entrepreneurs. The independent jury evaluates candidates based on a globally consistent set of criteria including entrepreneurial spirit, impact, purpose and growth. Along with Emil Tedeschi as president, the jury includes Saša Cvetojević and Nenad Bakić, as well as previous winners and finalists Hrvoje Josip Balen, Miljenko Borščak, Anita Cvetić Oreščanin, Dorotea Effenberger, Silvio Kutić, Vjekoslav Majetić, Alan Sumina, Ivo Usmiani and Zvonimir Viduka.

Over the past decade, the Croatian program has helped shift public perception of entrepreneurship by showcasing companies that strengthen the economy and create new opportunities.

This year’s program is supported by general sponsor Erste Bank, golden sponsor Marsh, silver sponsor Wiener Osiguranje, sponsors Interkapital, MET Croatia Energy Trade and Telemach, as well as partners AmCham, HAMAG-BICRO and Croatian Employers’ Association.

Entrepreneurs, as well as those who wish to nominate successful entrepreneurs, can submit their applications via the official website ey-eoy-croatia.awardsplatform.com until 10 May 2026.
