Future GREEN Business Conference
At the beginning of April, the first INTERNATIONAL conference "Future GREEN Business" was held - as part of the initiative of the same name organized by the International Institute for Climate Action (IICA)
It gathered the most important stakeholders in the field of climate policies and ESG in one place with the aim of giving the business and financial sectors in addition to informing, raising awareness and networking the offer and concrete answers to the questions about the reasons for financing climate action and what are all the sources of funds for financing projects related to climate change, and especially to explain the role of ESG in the context of climate action and why the overall for the business and financial sector, the priority is good and high-quality EDUCATION, and the fastest possible integration of ESG criteria.
The answers to these questions were given by eminent domestic and foreign experts, led by the keynote speaker, Mr. Javier Manzanares Allen, long-time executive director of the Green Climate Fund, the world's largest climate fund founded by 194 world governments. The results of the pre-selection for applying to the ESG World Summit & GRIT Awards (June 14–16, 2023, Bangkok) were also presented at the conference, and the director of the partner organization CorpStage, Dr. Nisha Kohli, presented the work of CorpStage and publicly announced the winners, A1 Hrvatska and Zagrebačka banka, who have achieved the right to apply for an internationally recognized award in the field of ESG.
