Green Matrix Summit

This international event is dedicated to the promotion and development of new skills necessary for the green and digital transition and transformation of the economy, as well as raising the awareness on climate change and the importance of the European Green Deal for the well-being and health of citizens and future generations.

Following EU initiatives and the designation of 2023 as the European Year of Skills, with this Summit we will contribute to activities promoting the importance of skills in Croatia and beyond, with the aim of supporting especially young people to successfully engage in these social processes.

The GREEN MATRIX SUMMIT will be held in Osijek, in the Economic Center of Osijek-Baranja County, from December 14-15, 2023 and and will round off the initiated activities at the educational, scientific and economic level while promoting new green skills and new technologies.

Numerous speakers and representatives of renowned companies in Croatia are expected to participate, especially leaders of change and industry leaders, as well as representatives of global corporations and chambers of commerce, scientific institutions, and also a large number of young people, given that Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek gathers more than 15,000 young people, our main target group.

The summit is intended for everyone, primarily entrepreneurs, students, innovators, leaders and policy creators. Participants will have the opportunity to present, discuss, network, and connect to exchange experiences and implement new ideas into future practical solutions on several theme stages.

Osijek-Baranja County invites all interested companies to be part of this international summit and participate in the creation of ideas for economic empowerment and strengthening resilience in the face of new challenges.
