Health Is Not a Sector – Health Is a Social Responsibility
At a time when there is strong public support for change, the key question is no longer whether change should be initiated, but how to implement it together.
The results of the Zero Quadrant survey, conducted by Val grupa in cooperation with Ipsos for the sixth consecutive year on a sample of 600 citizens aged 18 to 64, show that Croatian citizens see healthcare as a key national resource. The findings indicate that interest in the public healthcare system is not in doubt – on the contrary, there is a strong and clear expectation that it should be improved.
HealthComm Forum 2026
In the context of demographic challenges and rising healthcare costs, long waiting lists, and patients’ concerns about whether they will receive the care they need in a timely manner, healthcare is becoming a matter of long-term social and economic sustainability. That is why the fourth HealthComm Forum, titled “Agenda for a healthy society – Because health begins with agreement”, will take place in Zagreb on June 10, 2026.
The Forum brings together representatives of institutions, healthcare professionals, the academic community, patient associations, and the media with the aim of defining priorities and measurable indicators of progress in Croatian healthcare.
