Members News: Zagrebačka pivovara awarded top employer status for 2018
Zagrebačka pivovara topped the list of organizations with the best human resources management systems published by the consulting company Selectio in June of this year.
The list comprises organizations that were rated highest in an independent comprehensive analysis of human resources management systems as part of the certification process to obtain the prestigious Employer Partner Certificate in 2018.
“We are extremely happy and proud that Zagrebačka pivovara was recognized as the Employer Partner with the best practice in 2018. This is a result of many years of continuous work and constant efforts to make our organization an even better and more stimulating place for work. Out of all of our achievements in 2018, I would definitely highlight our initiative for attracting and hiring seasonal workers in response to the problem of attracting seasonal workforce during the summer. We have become the first employer in Croatia to launch our own fairs of seasonal jobs and campaigns in local communities. Furthermore, we have enriched our internal knowledge academy with modules focused on digital consumer solutions as well as on general digital business solutions and implemented a new working time policy with which we have enabled our employees to achieve a better balance between their private lives and business commitments”, said Jadranka Sakoman, the Director of Human Resources in Zagrebačka pivovara.
The Employer Partner project was launched by Selectio in 2005 with a mission of promoting quality human resources management. The project brings together the best employers on the market offering a transparent, professional and fair working environment, as well as opportunities for further personal and professional growth. The Employer Partner Certificate is awarded to organizations on the basis of assessment of human resource management practices in five main areas: strategy, recruitment and selection, performance management, training and development, and employee relations.
