Tiko Pro business breakfast exceeds all expectations
On 10th of March 2021, Tiko Pro has hosted its traditional business breakfast. The event has attracted over 500 entrepreneurs and AmCham was partner of the event. The introductory words were given by Kristina Kočet Hudrap, the founder and CEO of Tiko Pro.
Sandra Dudaš, head of the Croatian team at Tiko Pro, provided insights into the new financial perspective. Croatia has been allocated remarkable €24bn that will be rolled out through the Multiannual Financial Framework and the new European instrument for recovery and resilience. In the new Multiannual Financial Framework, all Member States have committed to EU-wide development objectives that facilitate innovation, digitalisation and green economy policies.
Lana Labinjan, EU project manager at Tiko Pro, has presented current calls for proposals: innovation voucher for SMEs, COVID-19 loan for working capital, Hamag-Bicro micro investment loan, growth and development loan as well as law on the promotion of investment. Ms Labinjan has also introduced the biggest and highly anticipated tender for construction and equipment, the launch of which is expected until June this year. The total budget allocation for the acquisition of equipment and construction will amount to staggering €200 million. The popular IRI3 that supports research and development activities for innovative products has been announced for next year.
A short presentation was made on the fundamental rules and regulations for project implementation. During the project execution, the beneficiary has to fulfill the set objectives and indicators in accordance with the time plan and allocated budget. A consistent data management is of utmost relevance in order to avoid financial corrections. An important part of the implementation process is also public procurement.
The companies Intra Lighting and ThreeFold have given insightful presentations into their best practice project examples. While the CEO of the company Intra Lighting, Mr Božidar Kadoić, has presented a successful project on internationalisation with available budget of 1.185.707,00 HRK, the co-founder of ThreeFold, Mr Chris Hutton, has spoken about the decentralisation in the data economy.
