Up to 20.000.000,00 HRK (cca 2.666.667,00 EUR) of funding available to facilitate energy efficiency in production industries

On 15 October 2020, the second call for proposals was published in the area of enhanced energy efficiency and utilization of renewable energy sources in production industries. The deadline for proposal submission is from 16 November 2020 until 25 January 2021.

The call aims at boosting the implementation of measures for energy efficiency and / or measures for utilization of renewable energy sources leading to reduced consumption of supplied energy of the production lines by a minimum of 20% with regard to energy supply.

Eligible applicants in the framework of this call are SMEs and large private companies as registered operators in the field of production industry, which includes all production and processing activities, or specifically, applicants as registered operators for provision of activities under the sector B, section 05-09 and sector C, section 13-33.

Eligible activities:

• Activities related to setting up of project application and accompanying project-technical documentation;
   
• Renewable energy activities
  -  Sub-activity 1: Energy efficiency and renewable energy sources of production lines
  -  Sub-activity 2: Energy efficiency of buildings
   
• Activities related to project management and administration as well as activities related to information and visibility;

The total available funds under this call are 266.000.000,00 HRK (cca 35.466.667,00 EUR):

• minimum grant amount 200.000,00 HRK (cca 26.667,00 EUR)
• maximum grant amount 20.000.000,00 HRK (cca 2.666.667,00 EUR)

The co-financing rate for eligible expenditures is up to 85%.
