AmCham Croatia presents five key recommendations for improving the judiciary, including judge specialization to better handle complex cases, reforming performance evaluation to encourage quality and timely rulings, and promoting alternative dispute resolution (ADR). The proposal includes establishing a national court register for uniform legal interpretation and reducing administrative barriers. Additionally, the need for infrastructure investment, court digitalization, improved communication with parties, and encouragement of remote hearings is emphasized. These reforms aim to enhance legal certainty and Croatia’s attractiveness for investment.
