The American Chamber of Commerce in Croatia (AmCham) has issued comprehensive recommendations for the 2023 tax system reform. The focus is on further relieving labour taxation, introducing tax incentives for investments in high-tech companies, and simplifying administrative procedures. Proposals include increasing the non-taxable income threshold, reducing income tax rates, and capping health insurance contributions. Additional emphasis is placed on supporting "business angels", simplifying tax loss carryforward, and aligning VAT and capital gains rules with EU practices.
