AmCham conducted a business climate survey among 149 company executives in Croatia. Most reported improved business performance in 2021, and 82% plan to expand operations. Key challenges include the shortage of skilled labor, high labor taxation, and supply chain disruptions. While 61% rated the business environment as good, concerns were raised about judiciary inefficiency, slow administration, and a small domestic market. Remote work is increasingly important, with 66% of companies planning to offer flexible work options. The findings highlight the need for reforms to improve competitiveness and attract investment.
