But expresses concern over Article 6(2), which requires registration and an editorial office in Croatia for video-sharing platform providers established in other EU Member States. Such a requirement would contradict the core “Country of Origin” principle of the AVMSD, as well as the E-Commerce Directive and the Services Directive. AmCham believes this restriction would create unnecessary barriers to the free cross-border provision of services, ultimately harming both Croatian consumers and businesses, and therefore recommends removing the reference to video-sharing platforms from Article 6(2).
