The digital transformation of healthcare plays a key role in modernizing health systems by improving access, efficiency, and safety. The European Health Data Space (EHDS) opens new opportunities for sharing and using health data, while the implementation of artificial intelligence and automation enhances medication management and treatment outcomes. Croatia shows progress through pilot projects and regulatory reforms but still lags in implementation and system interoperability.
