Treatment Outcomes (Quality) Registries

Treatment Outcomes (Quality) Registries

AmCham Croatia emphasizes the urgent need to introduce quality registries in healthcare to systematically collect data on patient treatment outcomes.

These registries would improve clinical practice, ensure more efficient use of public funds, and increase transparency across the healthcare system. Croatia significantly lags behind countries like Sweden, where such registries already deliver clear benefits for patients and society. AmCham calls for immediate action to establish quality registries, particularly for diseases with the highest mortality and cost burden (cardiovascular diseases, stroke, lung and colorectal cancer, diabetes), involving all key stakeholders and leveraging EU funding opportunities.
